Hey! I came up with the idea to add the ability to send a hawk that will carry a message for a ship that is on the horizon, or for ships that are visible on the map by emissaries of the death haven

Its actually a pretty immersive way to communicate!
Im guessing you could kinda mark a ship you see by holding your pet bird and using the secondary action button to kinda “Aim down sights” and releasing could send the bird to whatever ship you were staring at!
The bird will sit at the bird stand and squark like mental to let the crew know they have a message waiting for them!

You'll want to be careful attaching this to emporium items. People will scream "pay to win" or demand a free bird.

Give them a free bird then. A proper basic one.
I'd have a great time with it in my playstyle
Many situations where it would help and enrich my experience as the first to initiate contact to express intent or relieve concern
and I find random things very interesting/entertaining so the silliness people would send my way would likely bring me some smirks and chuckles
