    To Whom It May Concern,

    No, this isn't a request to add hurricanes into the game, but as a native Floridian who is living in the direct path of an oncoming hurricane that's predicted to hit Thursday, it'd be nice to know you haven't forgotten me and others in the same predicament when we inevitably lose power throughout the weekend. As much as I would like to watch the streamers for this weekend's Twitch drops, I doubt my phone will last that long after we lose power...

    Just a thought. 😅

    I don't keep my car in a garage, and I'm not about to step out into 125mph hurricane winds to use its battery. 😅

    It's times like this I wish Rare would finally come out with a system to earn twitch drops in game sometime (maybe months) after the benefit of advertising has passed, or even to just outright charge for the item later by putting a special tab in the emporium.

    Not gonna get into details, I've posted on it before and think the benefits of keeping your player base happy far outweigh any potential advertising benefit of completely locking these cosmetics to twitch. There could be reasons why they haven't done this related to their agreements with Twitch, but if that is the case, I wish they would just come out and say it already.

    there are no expendable pirates when it comes to those that participate passionately in the environment

    every one of you that contribute with your time and effort are important and valuable to this experience, new players all the way to players from the beginning

    you're all going to do what you need to do to get through it, this experience will be here waiting for your triumphant return, to the place where you belong, the place that is extraordinary in part because of you

    Geek's probably getting the worst of it right now. I'm getting winds and rain. It's chilly outside...what? Lol weird. 😆 should be getting sketchy in the morning here.

    My lights will likely be out during the update tomorrow lol.

    We just had lots of rain, wind gusts, flickering power, and tree limbs all over the place. Nothing as bad as what those just to the south of us experienced. For a while the eye was predicted to pass over a lot of my family here, and a couple of miles from my wife and I. Ian had a different plan and went inland earlier than the models anticipated. I am uncomfortable when our luck is another’s misfortune. We will be heading down there soon to help once it is safe to do so.

    Hurricane? What hurricane? Oh, I guess it passed south of here then. Slept like a wee baby through the night.

    All I got was a bit of wind and rain and a few wooden planks to collect over the weekend. Was even able to keep the lights on! Nothing a pirate can't handle! 😁

    My father's house though? It was in a Port named after some Charlatan and took the brunt of the storm. Luckily, he was on holiday at the time of the storm. He's probably going to have a rough homecoming. 😒
