The HellBringer is a mythical ship among the Sea of Thieves population. It was given his name by one of the few people who survived his encounter. The witness has fled to the Devil's Roar since that day.
There's a lot of theory about what that mysterious sound that can be heard every night is but for our witness, it's a noise he will remember all it's life. He claims it's the sound of the victims of this mysterious doom ship crying for help.
The ship came to the Sea of Thieves around the same time that Golden Sand was surrounded by a fog. For some people, this is a tool used by the Dark Bretheren to terrorize the poor population of Golden Sand and to other, it's just a story to afraid bad children.
People say that the Captain love to torture his prisonners by locking them in the cage hanging in front of the ship wich result in them slowly drowning while they sails with high waves.
If you see that ship, it's best to hide and pretend it never happened..
