Unable to purchase a ship
I am surprised to, because we did not have this bug during the tests on the insiders build. I was able to purchase any of them without problems. But you know things happen sometimes.
Let's wait and everybody will get his own ships. And I think a part of the team might be on hollidays, so that's why we have to wait a bit more :)

I have just submitted another ticket with a recorded video. It’s an absolute joke. It shouldn’t be happening.
They are not even recognising it on social media every-time myself and others tweet them!!!

Thanks for the update. Doesn’t work for me Eaither.No matter how many tickets I raise. I’m still not getting a solid answer as to what the plan with this is…..more than likely won’t be updated till the next season I reckon.

I would advice against this, only result will be clogging up the support ticket system and may even result in losing submitting tickets privileges.

I can confirm that the team are aware of the issue blocking certain players from completing the purchase of their ship. So please keep an eye on our social channels for any news around the fix being published to affected accounts as at this time, we are unable to manually fix this issue for you.
While it may be frustrating, only thing you can do is wait for a "fixed" message on their twitter or here or in the patchnotes.
Anything else is counterproductive.
I bought my first captained ship last night on Pc playing on Microsoft store. Completed the purchase, started doing the “tutorial” with the ghost pirate and had to log off. Came on later and the padlock is on my ships and can’t access.
I know many have this issue and have for a long time but for the sake of showing the Devs this still happens to players buying ships for the first time 9/15/22, here’s my post. It’s obviously not fixed yet.

Today I started having the same issue as you all. Unfortunately. Sent a report ticket with the typical answer but I wonder if you guys got it fixed or maybe stopped playing…
I have two problems :
1 - can’t buy new sloop it says purchase incomplete, when I try to buy a sloop (only option that comes up and weirdly it’s for 0 gold)
2 - I cannot buy Captain supplies with 1 of my 3 shipsIt’s really weird and I hope they fix it soon
@owloddity Same. I purchased a new sloop about a month ago, and it always tells me there is an error when I name and go to finish the purchase (it is an acceptable name). Whenever I go back to the purchase screen, the sloop purchase says 0 Gold, so the purchase went through, but the transaction doesn't finish. I just checked again today and still the same error.

It actually let me finalize a purchase for one yesterday, but I have no idea why or how. My best advice is to just wait and keep trying over the span of a few daysJust reading the history here after attempting to buy a sloop…purchased, named, then got no access to it, after reboot, going to ‘my ships’ etc etc… completely no access and now no coins left. Have raised a ticket but now not expecting a resolution. Completely not good enough that this has been going on for so long!!
I've been waiting (oh no?!) for a solution for more than 9 months. I'm not able to buy a new ship since July/22. IMHO, 9 months is more like "I don't care", unfortunately.
