Ashen Athena's Voyage Bug

    Hi, so I just finished up the 8 quests of an ashen Athena's captains' voyage (not from Ramsey, from the new captains' voyages bookshelf), and I did not get in single piece of Athena's loot. Not one. I know they are random and perhaps I just got really unlucky, but it seems unlikely I wouldn't get a single bit of Athena's loot (other than the chest of legend at the end). Even after getting the ashen chest of legends, I was only rank 2 Athena. Hopefully this was just bad luck on my end and not a bug with the captain's voyages, they should at minimum give just as much loot as a non captains voyage, really, they should offer a bit more.

    UPDATE: I ran another one to test, this one from the normal missions' purchases from Ramsey. As before, not a single piece of Athena loot (excluding Ashen Chest of Legends). I feel I can rule out bad luck. Either the quest is bugged or Rare intentionally removed all Athena loot from the Athena voyage. I have not tested a regular Athena voyage, I leave that to someone else should they feel so inclinded.

    @volarus the basic Athena and the Ashen variant never gave any other bits of Athena loot except the chests at the end.

    That only started with the Athena Run and continued with the new Legend of the Veil.

    It would make sense for Rare to go back and revisit the older Athena voyages and add more appropriate loot to them, but they don't seem to ever do rebalance passes on old content for whatever reason.

    You are mistaken. There have been Athena trinkets in dug up chests and skeleton captains might have an Athena skull when you are doing an Ashen Athena.

    Ahsen athenas never gave fortune skulls so you proably get unlucky with the digs.

    Also why are you doing ashen voyages while we have veils? Like Whats the problem? Did one of those new pan trinkets fall on your head? XD

    @volarus the original Athena's voyages were horrendous for actually getting Athena loot, rep and grade. Normally we averaged about 4-5 pieces for the whole thing and could be up to grade 5 emissary after 2 full voyages + a skelly sloop/meg or two. We haven't run a regular one since the Veil came out to be honest. You would think they would go back and upgrade the loot pool for the original voyages to somewhat match or even be better given the length. It sounds like the Captain's voyage variant is based around the old one, but you should have gotten something other than Chest of Legends I would think?

    @thorumsu Because I wanted too, didn't feel like doing a Veil. Plus, I still need commendations for the old Athena's loot which the Veil gives very little of. I've done a number of Ashen Athena's and this is the first time I've gotten nothing. I usually get 2 or 3 skulls plus a few other trinkets.

    @piratesmalls yes, that has been my experiences, usually 4-5 pieces and rank 5 after two of them.

    @d3adst1ck you are mistaken, up until yesterday when Season 7 launched Ashen Athena's runs would usually net 4-6 pieces of Athena loot. The 2 puzzle chest would usually have one piece each in them. The 2 skele bounties would usually give between 1 and 3 skulls, and the buried treasure would usually give 1 or 2 pieces of Athena loot per island. You could reliably get to around level 4 off one Ashen Athena and a second would get you to level 5. Now a single Ashen Athena won't even get you to rank 3.

    Did 3 of them ourselves for not even grade 5. Hopefully it will be fixed/clearified.
