so basicly we were doing order of souls for 2 hours and after that we sold and got nothing for it. So what should we do? it has been 3 hours

When this happens I suggest playing entirely for fun because there is no guarantee you'll see what you have done on the record books until it is fixed.
I would stop all grinding when this happens and do whatever you enjoy that isn't goal based until it's announced it has been corrected officially but that's entirely up to you. You can always take the gamble but it'll be frustrating if something that you value doesn't go through.

Had this same or similar issue last night, my party of 3 were doing the Shores of Gold Tale Tale (for the first time for me) the achievements for completing it and finding Journals popped up when done but in the end it never updated my pirate log and when we sold items none of us received Gold, Rep or Season advancement.
