Shrouded Islands Adventure Completion Glitch /No Final Dialogue, Just Resets Chapter 2 Start! *FIX*

    FIX:
    Start a new Session and Return to Belle. The final Dialogue option to complete the First Shrouded Island Adventure should be there!
    Thanks for everyone who posted their experience and helped Brainstorm Fixes and Orpheus Quine for finding the fix!

    ISSUE:
    In some Instances Something between Starting Chapter 2 and Returning To Belle is Causing Issues in Finishing the Adventure. Weather you travel to Belle on a Different Island than Crescent Ilse or Return to Crescent, Speaking to Belle after finding the Hex Skull is just Running the dialogue to start Chapter 2 again instead of Completing the Adventure.

    NOTE: One person was able to get full credit by exiting his sessions and starting a new one. Then return to Belle where the Final Dialogue was available.

    My Account:
    We started the New Adventure at Golden Sands Outpost, Continued to Crescent Ilse to talk to Belle to start Chapter Two and Fought the Pirate Captain Boss on Shipwreck Bay. I'll make a note here, when you receive the Map Bundle there is no Icon or anything Special to distinguish it from any-other Treasure Map you might have besides the Fact it only has One 'X'.

    Here is where our Trouble began. We Followed the Map to Devil's Ridge, which is also shrouded, good sign. Found the Hex Skull where 'X' marks the spot. Who do we find close to the Hex Skull location but none other than Belle! So we say "Hey nice we can turn in our Runes Pieces and Hex Skull to her here. We don't have to go back to Crescent Ilse!". WRONG. We turned our items into her, she took them no issue, and then talked to her to Finish the First part of the Shrouded Islands Adventure! IT ONLY GAVE THE DIALOUGE TO CONTINUE CHAPTER 2. So my crewmate accepts, for whatever reason. Talk to her again, nothing. Waiting for us to go do ALL OF CHAPTER 2 again.

    We sail back to Crescent Ilse to see if maybe we still receive credit for turning in the items to Belle and just need to complete where we first spoke to her. WRONG AGAIN! Nearly all Head-Wind Sailing to find out we just did a Quest that lets you turn into a Quest-Giver to not complete the Quest. Time Wasted, but hopefully other sailors don't share our fate.

    For the Devs:
    We would still like Credit for completing the Quest and the Rewards that come with it, if that's a Possible Solution for the Devs Via Forum Post. We're not very interested in Starting it over again.

    I went from Golden Sands to Crescent to Shipwreck to Marauders on one profile and Devil's Ridge on another.

    Not saying it didn't happen, or that your situation is unique. I've had no issues with what you're deciding.

    I mean...most people know to always "Return" to the source of your adventure, dont use shortcuts.

    The map can lead you to 3 different islands. All 3 have Belle. There's no reason to sail across the map a 3rd time.

    @pithyrumble That's what we figured, why sail all the way back when she was right there. Game has never deterred from doing just that.. It might have bugged when we picked up the 'Map Bundle' because after that, the Adventure Book on the Quest Table disappeared. Either way it was very deflating. I'll update the warning on that note though!

    I've had no issues other than missing the dialogue trigger for the wilds.

    I did the Adventure and had no issue from beginning to end, everything went smoothly. Looks like your issue is definitely unique

    So I just had the same issue, but I actually DID return to Crescent and still didn't get the end quest dialogue--just the same repetition of Chapter 2. A little frustrating no doubt.

    You turn into Belle on a different Island than the original? Someone else was able to do so as well. Someone else ran into my same issue but returned to Crescent Island Belle. Even stranger!

    @orpheus-quine Somewhere between Belle and the Hex Skull we must have encountered the same issue. I'm wondering if ours bugged out as we picked up the Map Bundle. Edited the Forum issue to address the issue you ran into, thank you for sharing!

    Curiosity: were you guys alone on the island when you killed the Soulflame Cap and were any of the 'memory' braziers lit when you got there?

    @pithyrumble Just my crew on the Island. None of the braziers were lit when we arrived. Really good question though. I could see how that could cause some issues!

    I got all the beacons lit and captain soulflame never showed up. The battle music played and just wave after wave of spirits came. After like 45 min of fighting them I went and talked to Belle(to hopefully retrigger the beacons) but it did not work. I'm going to try again later and hopefully make it through.

    @xgamer-101x Strange update. I had to duck out of my session, and then started a new one to replay the adventure in hopes of getting it to complete. When I went to see Belle this time on Crescent, the complete quest dialogue WAS THERE! After I had exited session and coming back in. Absolutely no explanation for it but I hope you eventually got it to work!

    @orpheus-quine This brings me hope! I'm gonna have to jump in and talk to her and see what she says! I also updated the forum to let people know that might be a solution for them!

    I tried doing the adventure for the first time a couple days back. I had defeated the Chapter two boss, and had the tablet plus the skull but unfortunately, my light went out and when I logged in to find the tablet and the skull again, I was stuck with Belle telling me to keep looking. Does anyone know what I can do?

    @ruhdyy You could try sailing to another Island where she is located besides the Original one you first talked to her. For most people it's Crescent Island. I know she can be found on Multiple Islands, however the only other one I know of is Devil's Ridge in the Ancient Isles (P-19). She is located towards the top of the Ridge.
