So I play on PC, my brother just got an Xbox to play together. I bought the game on the Microsoft Store on Xbox with the same account I play on, when he tries to play on his account it says sign into the game owner's account to play, so I signed in. THEN it kicks me out from my game session saying this account is being used right now, Sign it out? then it kicks my brother out of Sea of Thieves. And the only solution I could find is to buy the game AGAIN on his account which is BS. Any solutions?

You just gave your solution. Buy the game again so your Bro can play on HIS xbox.
You bought the game on YOUR account, its linked to you. That how the present games work to prevent people from buying a single copy and sharing it....like the old days :p

It is possible, that both of you play with just one version
Change your brothers console settings to YOUR HOME CONSOLE...now everything you bought can be played without login in on that console...
Before someone screams "illegal" and such...no this is the regular share function of the XBox, even on Playstation it works like thatEdit: btw, nice profile picture, Queen's the best band ever 👍🏻

Well I don't own an Xbox so I was not aware of that feature. Even with your explanation I'm confused.
Is it similar to family sharing with Steam?

Account "A" made the console it's "Homeconsole", now everything account A buys can be played by everyone on that console
At the same time account A plays on the homeconsole of account B...as account A bought, for example SoT, you can play together...
I wonder why I have to explain this, because since the XBox One it was always like this...so since 2013...maybe even since XBox360Edit: when account A buys gamepass, gold, games...whatever, there are "2 owners"...the account AND the homeconsole of that account...maybe this explaination is easier to understand
