I have 6 friends that got the game and we cant play all togheter,with 6 friends on a ship sailing with a boat will be 2x easier and i think more players would love this.
To prevent 5 or 6 v 2's public crews are an option
For the people that want to play solo or new players that cant play with friends, the devs could create only for solo servers wich is a great option because many people spawn kill
Galleons for 5-6 players (not sloops)

Firstly, asking your friends to agree with you won't rise the changes of feature being developed.
Secondly I don't think this is likely going to happen due to the balance issues this might bring. Think about the solo or even duo players playing against a 6 player ship.

There's no problem, I only said what's the most likely answer to your request as these're conversation forums after all, not direct suggestions to Rare.

I also encounter plenty of people on the seas who can't handle 4v2.
So at the end of the day, idea isn't bad but it wouldn't work or benefit the game.

Public crews (open crews) are already a thing and 9/10 of times they're total chaos (at least here in EU due to language barriers)
It still wouldn't change the fact that some people (my self included) prefer to play in smaller groups or alone.

How? My liking isn't connected to the core of the game nor does the core control what I'm allowed to like or not? Having larger ships does not go against games core but against balance due to the issues it would bring up.

I don't know about that necessarily
I think beginning solo sloopers definitely need an environment that's at the very least fair for their ship size. Not many log on as a sloop to fight multi-galleon alliance servers, let alone any galleons at all.

Suggestion for new accounts to not be able to post for 30 days. Maybe it would give them time to browse ideas that have been floated before and already answered.
Yourself and your friends all made your accounts today and have voted each others posts. Doing this, does not endear me to your ideas I'm afraid.
@withmyapologies yes i loged my account on the site today so i can post my suggestion but i play sea of thieves for like 3 weeks or so and i enjoy every single thing in this game and i want to play it at full potential with all of my friends and we voted our posts so more people to see it and the idea to get in the game

I'm happy that you enjoyed the game and want to share your thoughts and ideas here on the forums, but all should be done in respect of the rules and regulations.
When you post an idea in the forums think of the changes in the game, think of the impact these changes will bring. If some fellow gamer points this out for you just use the criticism to better your idea. In the end we all come here for the love of the game.

I play solo mostly, sailing with a crew is enjoyable at times, but I stay away from open crew. According to your suggestion, I should have to join up with four or five randoms who all have their own ideas of what they want to do. Rare will then lose a much larger player base as there is a huge solo and duo population who like myself will not do that.

Like you said yourself, I've been playing for three weeks. What others say about your idea is a matter of experience that everyone has with the game, so don't get us wrong, but there's still a lot to see and experience in the game, and when you get to that point, you'll see that right now this is pretty unbalanced for Sea of Thieves' healthy environment.

@tabbygamer20 Nobody is upset, people are simply pointing out the flaws in this idea, that has been thoroughly tested already by the devs to reach the balance it is at today. (It's okay if you weren't aware, especially if you only started playing recently)
People shouldn't be ousted into solo servers (something that will never happen) to accommodate people who don't want to either split in 2 groups of 3, or don't want to negotiate with a second crew to give up their ship.
