Make PvE servers PLEASE. All these toxic people on forums defending their aggression (its just them being unnecessary/arrogant jack wagons and everyone knows it) when there is arena for PvPing, they join Adventure and ruin the fun for folks who dont want that sort of thing to happen. You can still have adventure PvP servers for those who want it but make PvE servers for those who dont. Rare claims it wants folks to come together in Sea of Theives and adds more PvE content to do so yet the moment you come across another ship it is never anything but hostile and then abuse in voice chat. Thats why folks are saying nasty things to each other is due to not having a mode where you can just play the game and sail the seas doing quests/content without someone coming through to just ruin your day. Again, Im not asking for PvP adventure to disappear, thats all fine, leave that alone for those who want that. But please add PvE for the bulk of the rest of us who want to enjoy the game and see friendly pirate faces on the Seas. It would tremendously help the game stay alive for years to come and add/bring back many more players. Its not changing the game for those who wine about it being PvPvE, it would still be that. But it would allow folks to remove themselves from that toxic behavior and people. If anything allow PvP servers double loot for their troubles or have half loot for everything in the PvE servers. It a very simple fix. I want to see the Sea of Theives in a few years growing and not even more on the decline or completely obsolete due to the toxicity. The report features are a joke because you have trolls who abuse that and record only what they want after harrassing their victims and honestly its a mark against free speech. If you can defend PvP only adventure servers, then you can defend those who get ticked off and say nasty things because thats what the game is allowed to become and its seriously a shame.
Seperate PvE PvPvE Adventure Servers
Toxicity isn't tied to pvp it's tied to personality and personality clashing
The toxicity within the community that wants exclusive pve servers doesn't go away with pvp removed. All those personality things still exist and they will just clash with each other
Which they already do because the reality of toxicity in this game is it mostly comes from pvers not only lashing out at pvp but mostly just treating each other poorly both within cliqueish communities and open crew against random people they mistreat when pvp isn't even involved.

There is also a thread for discussion of Custom servers here where you read some thoughts on the topic.
Unless something at the very core of Sea of Thieves changes, this will not be revisited or changed as Sea of Thieves will always be a shared-world adventure game, with elements of both PvP and PvE.
Joe did speak about Custom Servers about a year ago. These servers will not offer Gold or progression IF they become available to the public. Private Servers are still being tested with our Partners.
