  • What needs fixing?

    Spawning to much or gem?

  • @burnbacon

Spawning rats by the sound of things..

  • Your.....grinding ocean crawlers for gems? Like in an mmo? Homie you are doing it wrong. All fort events have gems in them, as well as more valuable loot. Skeleton ships drop gems, and skeleton sloops are particularly easy (10 cannonballs is usually overkill for them). The megs, which are now even easier thanks to tridents, usually drop a gem or two. Heck even just sailing to floating barrels yields a gem alot of the time. Sea of thieves is not like most other games out there. If you try to play it like other games you will have a bad time.

  • Why would you grind them for gems? probably the slowest way of doing it. Feel like after you killed 50 of them you should've realised it wasn't worth it

  • I've been fairly lucky with those so far, but always wait a few seconds after an enemy dies, like gold pouches from skelly captains those gems can take up to 2-3 seconds to spawn after the death of a mob. Often I've had crewmates leave those behind without realising it.
