Please give the male pirates who have an unkempt beard the chance to remove it inside the chest like all other beards!
Some costumes like those of Pirates of the Caribbean, Jack's costume above all, look really bad with that unkempt beard.
A small change but that would be very welcome to give even more customization, and personally I have never liked the fact that I cannot remove it.

Omg it's so ugly! XDWell as that is part of the pirate you selected in the pirate generator, and not an additional cosmetic applied to the pirate, your option right now would be the pirate appearance potion. Using that you can change your base pirate model. I'm pretty sure you get enough ancient coins in the free plunder pass to cover the cost.

Absolutely not! Mine is the best pirate for me! I like everything except this beard detail with some costumes. And then I believe that most of the male pirates have this characteristic of the beard. Just drop it into the Appearance Chest for an extra touch of customization!
I certainly did not open this post to change my pirate (which is assumed that I do not want to do, because otherwise I would have just done it) but only to give a suggestion!Great suggestion and 100% agree.
There are clean shaven pirates in SoT so it should be easy to implement.
The same can be said about the head/hair. There is currently no way to go completely bald...there is always that grey stubble.

Yeah, a real pirate appearance that represents the crew-mate with alopecia. Eyebrows for that matter should be removable too!
Seriously though, this level of customization shouldn't be asking too much. It isn't a change to the shape or size of your pirate, just their amount of hair - or lack thereof.
The pirate appearance tool could be a little better too. I realize they didn't want everyone to look like Jack Sparrow... I guess until Disney signed on, but that's not the point... but right now it is too limited. And the randomization makes it too hard to know if you'll end up with a better looking pirate than you currently have.

Omg it's so ugly! XDIt wouldn't be an easy fix as it would be apart of the Skin Texture so if they removed it it would remove it for everyone who had it and some people like it.
if they added a Non-stubble edition of the skin you would still need to go through the pirate generator to regenerate a pirate with that texture.@matmoesa Yes, maybe you are right it will not be possible. But I was thinking more of a new type of beard equipped for those who have a pirate with this type of beard while those who do not have it if they want to equip it through the chest. I hope it's a small change that they will add because in a game where customization and cosmetics are everything it would be a welcome change.
