  • @joguysjobhier Ooooh that is odd... are you not seeing the new A Pirates Life stuff?

You could try checking File Integrity on Steam... that usually kicks the store into touch to go fetch any fresh new downloads/updates.

  • @musicmee yes i already tried that... but it isnt the pirates life update its the one that came after that, but my friends who bought it from microsoft store already have the update

  • @joguysjobhier i use the steam version and i did get the update immediately

  • @callmebackdraft what do i have to do to get it you think?

  • @joguysjobhier

Check to make sure the update isn't queued. If that doesn't work then go to the properties and check for updates manually.

If that doesn't work you might have to verify your game cache files. Then check for updates again.

Worst scenario is having to reinstall the game.

  • @xultanis-dragon if i have to reinstall the game do i lose my progress or i that linked to my xbox account

  • @joguysjobhier

No, you don't lose any progress from reinstalling the game. Your character isn't saved via the game files its saved to your Microsoft account. You should be okay.

  • @xultanis-dragon i am almost done reinstalling but the numer of GB is still the same so i think it wont work but thx for putting in some suggestions!

  • @joguysjobhier if anyone else has ideas pls tell them!!!

  • @joguysjobhier

Once you have reinstalled the game. Make sure you have auto updates enabled and enough space in your hard drive to fit the update.

If that doesn't work go ahead and submit a support ticket with rare and on steam. Hopefully the tech people from one of them can work out what the problem is.

  • @joguysjobhier

Actually, are you sure you got enough space?? Check your hard-drive and make sure you got the space for the update.

Usually when a game updates something like 5gigs it will allocate 10gigs of space. It does that to verify you have enough space to complete the install. If it can't allocate the space it just won't install.

  • @xultanis-dragon i finally found out what i had to do i just had to sign out and in again...
