I've had this issue with the Steam edition since Season 1 dropped. My game loads up the initial loading screen with the spinning wheel, and crashes immediately. Event log shows

I've been working with support on this, attempted all this under guidance from support with no luck:

Today support told me
Unfortunately, we've reached a point where we've exhausted all troubleshooting available.
Searching our articles and forums only provided explanations related to uninstalling antivirus software entirely (as opposed to bypassing) or uninstalling various pieces of audio software to resolve the issue. We can only advise to contact support.microsoft.com for more information.
So I appeal to the community, any ideas? Note this is only the Steam edition I also have the MS Store edition and it works great.
