Consistent Water Glitch/Issue

  • For as long as I can remember in Sea of Thieves the transition from surface to underwater while treading water in waves seems to be glitched. On a wavy surface whenever it rolls over and I dip underwater it does not render properly and I can see the game void. If I am swimming underwater it renders properly, just when treading water. Here is an example clip and spec:

    Ahoy!

I think I've already experienced this glitch a few times on Xbox as well.

But it might be better to fill a support ticket as it's the only way for Rare to be aware of it and investigate :)

    Hi!

Cheers I submitted a ticket. I will update this thread if it gets resolved but would also appreciate knowing if any other players have had this issue or found a solution.

    Have fun times!

  • It just makes my face sad, I don't know what to change to fix it.

  • I believe I've solved this issue, it seems it was either my Load-Line Calibration setting was too high or VCore setting was too low in BIOS. I'm leaning more towards the Turbo LLC was the issue.

  • I have your same problem, did you manage to solve it?

  • Hold up! Did these guys just turn on you while in alliance?

  • I have the same problem. Maybe it's somehow linked to AMD graphics cards? When I had an Nvidia it wasnt a problem.

  • Ahoy maties!
