These are just 2 ideas that I had that, in my opinion, would greatly improve the quality of gameplay.

Selective respawning
I think it would be great to have a feature that when you die, you can select a place to respawn at. This would include seaposts, as currently they are neglected an unused, your current ship, and one or two of the closest outpost. This would allow easier movement around the map, and create more interactions between crews as, quite frankly, it is currently very empty when I enter a server. -
Man-O-War
This immense sized ship could be put into the game, with the following mechanics: The ship would only spawn once in every server, (and respawn if it is sunk) and spawn at one of the larger islands, such as Smugglers Bay, Cannon Cove or Thieves Haven. It would have four decks, two of them having cannons (using the currently unused gun ports on the galleon) the bottom two being storage and brig. It has four masts and two crows nests, and would extremely slow but HIGHLY maneuverable (made for ship combat) and have up to 10 cannons on each side (6 on the top deck and 4 on the deck below). The ship could also be "claimed" by a crew or multiple players (don't have to be in a crew together) and have the option to respawn there (see above) There could be a maximum capacity of 8 crew members. It could also have multiple barrels, like the interactive barrels found on islands, and multiple supply barrels placed in different parts of the ship in accordance with where they are needed.
Let me know what you think of this, and give some improvements or suggestions in the responses.
