One thing a buddy and I have noticed and haven't experimented with is that when you have to collect the Flames of Fate for ritual skull forts, keeping your ship alive is difficult when you need to get the pink player flame so typically you want to do that early or shoot yourself over to a player ship with your cannon. And when it comes to getting the death by lightning, if you don't have the correct belt that increases your chances to get hit (it specifically says it in the description of the item and I think it is the admiral belt) this can take hours.
This brings me to the question concerning skeleton ships... They roam around with flames of fate on them already. Can you collect your flames from there? Or do they need to be taken from another player's lantern or the lantern on the ferry of the damned only? Has anyone tested this theory yet? Skelly ships a go or a no-go?
