New Commendations Don't Reward Reputation or Titles So Why Are They There?

    All of the new commendations for Athena's Fortune do not reward reputation. I was able to confirm this with all but the Legendary Riches and Peerless Legend commendations which I cannot determine since in order to progress those commendations I must do an activity that gains Athena's Fortune reputation.
    Some of those commendations unlock cosmetics for purchase, but what of the majority of them that don't? Why have commendations that give neither title or reputation, what becomes their purpose?

    Those new commendations are there for unlocking the new ghost equipment.

    @kommodoreyenser Only two of them are. If you read the OP you would have seen, "Some of those commendations unlock cosmetics for purchase, but what of the majority of them that don't?"

    There are 3, one for the ghost lantern, shovel, and bucket. The others are just the emissary ones and the ones for the ghost ship set stuff. Emissary ones i have no idea what they are for other than another box to check.
