The Dutchess

    So I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue that I'm having with the Dutchess. Ive went to molten sands 5 times now to kill her. And completely out of my control a geyser kills her, and i dont get credit for the kill. Ive been stuck at the same number for 5 runs.

    Geysers, fire and any other element causing damage that does not come directly from a player will end up not counting for any of these bosses.

    @d3adst1ck Even if you deal damage to them?? Cause thats messed up.
    It should count as a kill no matter what the circumstance. IF you hit the boss wave and she spawns and she dies you should get the +1.

    the developers should sometimes rethink their content :D , i dont sail to the devils roars for no commendation count cause ducheess got killed by a geyser....maybe bring the duchess on forts, just the duchess

    @weedstar-deluxe The dutchess can spawn at any regular skeleton forts. I have defeated her at them many times. Just keep doing them and she will show up.

    @venomous-sloth7 ye i do them but its a 1:3 chance....she never spawns on regular gift voyages i think?

    @weedstar-deluxe She only has a chance of spawning on active skeleton forts. Better than fighting her in the Devils Roar and even if she doesn't spawn you still get to have all the loot.

    Try to guide them to your ship and shoot cannonballs...maybe try 2 or 3 gunpowder before, so he's faster down...but not more than 3, gpb doesn't count and he burns after the explosion, fire also doesn't count

    For the Dutchess, lure her into the cave that contains the fortress vault. Geysers do not spawn in there, and you do not have to worry about the volcano either.

    @archangel-timmy Oh i have done that. See what we like to do it once we arrive to molten sands, ill stay behind and solo it while my crew hops to other forts. And i usually try to lead her down there. However she doesn't always cooperate. The last time i fought her she teleported right into the geyser with rocks all around it and then she couldnt get out.

    @venomous-sloth7 I would but that's waay slow. and you 9/10 have fight another boat for it. not that i mind. but im trying to do it as fast as possible. doing the legendary gift voyage is the way. Once the gift voyages are gone, the only way to get the +1 will be through the fort. At least that's what im thinking anyway.

    I've over this dutchess commendation I've killed her at least 40 times some have been geysers and I'm still stuck at 22 rare fix your sh it up

    To kill the dutchess drag her into the cave at molten sands. Just RUN into that cave if it starts erupting or if it starts to shake.

    If you want to prep her death before hand, you can safely explode 2 gun powder barrels next to you to help you out.

    She was a pain to do but I got her pretty easily. Just know that when you are at molten sands, there is food ALL around you and never be below half health EVER. I ate food everytime she hit me.
