There actually was a post on the official Sea of Thieves youtube channel. That said, I watched the stream and didn't get anything for it, same story with the one for the cannons that I watched as well. Not sure what's going on with the accounts lately.

Due to the popularity of MixPot, some viewers may not receive content. If the item is not listed on your Windows Store account page, you have not been selected or you have logged in with the incorrect account.' Btw I most certainly did not log in on incorrect account, I only have one lol.
Rare are not known for being consistent with how they advertise the "Free Cosmetics" at all, this i doubt will ever see change sadly.
Many many instances of this and or similar situations.
Myself, i was slightly disgruntled to learn of the DLC packs on the Xbox store which would have saved me some penny's in purchases and given me extra coins for the irl cash spent.

I don't have facebook, i don't have instagram (Because those places are not good for anyones mental health), and i haven't joined the Discord because i never really saw the point in doing it, seeing as i already follow the Sea of Thieves youtube channel almost religiously. :P
I don't particularly care about having those cosmetics, i'm just trying to ask the right questions, and explaining why someone would not be on the other websites. ;3
EDIT: I have the bell enabled on Sea of Thieves youtube channel, i get notifications for everything they do, except announcements on their youtube community section, apparently. : /

Not to give anyone false hope, but I received an email from support stating the item was added to my account. I haven't been able to verify though.
I simply exaplained my situation in detail while quoting the FAQ and how I should have qualified.
@agent-d51 this was posted on the forums, their twitter and xbl’s twitter.
Also dont fret just like the ebony pistol, the obsidion six or the other sets it will most likely be given away again.
@archangel-timmy well a little hope is better than none, I did say to the guys that I would wait 7 days and get back in touch so Ill message him tomorrow in detail. Thanks man.
