@needsmokes No what I'm saying is that it explains their mentality, the fact that they think the more they shout and stamp, the more they will be listened to.

Really the only answer to these posts is, "it was mentioned 10 months ago, either Rare will implement it when they are ready or they will come out and say that they are not going to. Either way it's just about patience"

Which again leads me to believe they are young'uns'

@needsmokes Do you think this comes from the fact they are losing to better crews because of the event?
Then using PC as an excuse, I ask because if it is such a problem that you all keep making it out to be, then it isn't a problem that has just occurred. It's one in from the beginning, so why all this now.

Do you not think it is fair to also say, if they win a fight they wouldn't know if that person was on xbox or PC as they wouldn't check?

@needsmokes I think we would hear them out if they actually came out wiht the issues that they experience out on the sea, instead they jump on an aspect that doesn't seem to be an issue for everyone, so why them?

Let them tell us what their difficulties are.

The second issue is having an open mind to what is been told to you. For instance if they were having issues with PvP in close quarters and we start asking about what lead up to the PvP fight in close quarters, they flip out like it's not connected

@needsmokes I can agree, and I actually came up against a PC player better than me and my crew at the FoTD, that totally made me believe they were cheating, but it was just that they were better.

luckily we didn't totally lose, we changed how we played and once we stopped them getting to the island or our ship (left one person guarding) they were unable to beat us.

They even tried hiding around the island until we got the key, but we just stopped and cleared, they didn't like that

@badassfro Not to be contrarian here, but there is a new posting about this almost every day. (I used my big word of the day, yay me, LOL) It has been and continues to be a concern. I prefer to play cross play myself. But having played both PC and Xbox, even with a bad PC, and a very souped up Xbox One X with SSD, Elite Controller (to recently trying out the best KB/M made for Xbox) and I can honestly say, there is a vast difference when switching between the two.

Now having said that, I am still not the best, or even close to it at PvP. I used to think I could hold my own or at minimum was about average, and for a short while I could/was. But it seems that all of the combat "balancing" that was done has only made me a much worse PvP player.

But still, if I am on my PC, I do better than I can on the xbox.

Back to my point, when there is such a difference that you can tell a player is PC based or not while they are turning you to dust, and you can't do anything about it, then of course you will want to say something about it. Especially when Rare continues to dump monthly events meant to encourage PvP over cooperative play. Though this even does seem to be a mix of both.

@nofears-fun Alot of that can come down to preference, I use a mouse and keyboard everyday, im more proficient with it.

Give me time with a controller and I will be too,

I know some people who can turn as fast as I can with their controllers, they use them way more offten so turn the senstivity up to near max.
I can't use it like that, with me not being so proficient, no doubt I can get like that with practice.

sorry started rambling then, TLDR: input is about preference, but also the fact and KB&M is easier to pickup and master compared to controller, again for some people that could be the other way round

Your quite involved with this discussion for one who does not even logon and play.

Everyday for a week you been posting here about crossplay.

But it's not like you play SoT with your kid anymore, because that's why Rare loves crossplay.
