So yesterday I went onto adventure to try out the workaround provided by @SatanicNemesis in another post. I found an active fort with noone on it. I tucked away anyways and waited 10 minutes to see if there would be someone coming back for it. As noone turned up, I went on the beach, dug up a few grubs and went on fishing.
I've been there for about 20 minutes, before I accepted that there wouldn't be any battlegills to catch.
I think this would be a bug or an overlooked detail. But since the fort is active, it would make sense for battlegills to spawn there.
Battlegills on FotD
@commodoremerlin that sucks, for those working on battlegill this would have been perfect. Too bad they also messed up stormfish with lightning hitting so frequently.
@captain-coel Didn´t fish for stormfish since the update, so I dunno about that. But it sounds awful :(
@commodoremerlin I've seen too many complaints about it at the moment. But lightning strikes have always been a point of contention for me. I am not sure the right balance has ever been there.
@captain-coel I mean the idea of increasing the chance with a sword out seems right to me... Apart from that, I think it was fine the way it was before. They should revert the overall chance to the way it was before and highly increase the chance with the sword out.
@commodoremerlin between the sword and the belt. I completely agree. very low normal and very high the otherway
