@agent-samuraii The Pride Flag was added to represent inclusivity, as I understand it - not to represent a particular group. I don't feel we need to have flags to represent specific groups - it sets a precedent and opens the door to complaints that some groups are left out. It's an interesting idea, but simply not needed. I'd much rather they spend resources on other things.

If you plan on making this game about flaunting your sexuality when it's supposed to be pegi 12... Then i consider humanity a lost cause... Ya'll should be ashamed of yourselves, honestly.

I am so with you on that one. I am a Christian and seeing the Gay Pride flag is a big offense to me. I know that Rare doesn't like discrimination and this to me especially with them putting the flag in the game feel like discrimination to me as a Christian. So if I do see someone with that flag out in the seas, I just may come and hunt you down until your ship is sunk, but you may keep the treasure you have earned cause I am not coming for that, I am just coming for your flag.

Edit: I know Rare has asked to not do that as apart of the code, but if that is what it takes to drive home a point, I will do that.

Are most of these real? For disclaimer sake, what consenting adults do with each other is perfectly fine. Said people should be recognized under the law, but these are some really dumb and unimaginative flags. What in the world does lesbians and double sided axes have in common. My mind is racing down the rabbit hole to find the connection. I can think of one connection, and its really dumb and I hope that isn't why the flag is that. Rubber Pride and Master/Slave Pride I am pretty sure I know who that represents, but the imagery makes no sense. The rest are just lazily thought out lines with different color palettes. Feather Pride probably is the most creative, but personally think a Peacock makes more sense for a bird. I would be interested in hearing why a Raptor, a predatory like bird, was chosen.

I still feel like this is still talking about a certain group of people who only believes in same sex marriage and I totally disagree with that completely. This flag is an offense from a group of people. If you want me to include them, then drop the flag Rare. Do you even know what the flag means Rare?

Please don't add this Rare and I ask that you take down the current flag you have in the game right now. All of this is a big offense to me as is and I may just leave the game all together. Because ever since you have added the pride flag to the game, the community went nuts over it, they were really happy you have added the flag to the game.

When you have added that to the game, I have already felt excluded, not included, because with my current belief, I am offended. Please take away the flag before things gets worse here in the community, thank you!

@t-linkable That's unfortunate. Your entitled to how you feel and think... and if how others live their life - when it has absolutely nothing to do with you - offends you so much that you are unwilling to play a game because of a flag, that's certainly a decision you are free to make.

I in general despise using this word, but the word "Triggered" fits quite snugly here. Its a flag, your being way to overly dramatic here. When the existence of people who have zero effect on your life and beliefs cause you to get this upset, might be time for some self inflection. Your actually threatening to quit a game over a colorful flag. While casually mentioning that you target for the sole reason to bully, for simple flying said flag.

Lol I dont even pay attention to flags. Flag or not I'll sink your ship cuz I want the gold and I dont care who has a flag, the gold, or even why, I just want the loot, and maybe a fight for it.

Honestly, I cant see how this would offend anyone, ITS A FLAG! IT SHOULDNT MATTER, ALL THAT SHOULD MATTER IN THIS GAME IS GETTING GOLD AND STEALING IT FROM OTHERS!

Me myself, I dont identify ppl by any gender in video games, i identify ppl as the word person, person's and person(s). Mostly, I like to think everyone is a dragon inside, bcuz it's my desired wish to become one if granted. So why dont we all just be dragons, bcuz dragons dont need genders, bcuz they're dragons, and they're cool like that lol. :)

So give them the flags and stop giving a s*** ppl please, this post has been up long enough dont ya think?

This twisted definition of “discrimination” seems prevalent these days. The flag does not discriminate against you simply because you are offended by what it represents to you.

As for what you plan - it’s bannable. Won’t be driving any point home, really. I think you’re ‘I will stop playing’ offer would be the better option if you have to choose.

This is an open community with no discrimination. I don’t think we should bring any flags in that represent sexual orientation. That being said I feel the same about politics. In a game that is rated for everyone to play including young children there is no need to bring sexuality into. Now I understand it’s not just sexuality it’s also gender identity but if you make one flag they would have to make a million other flags personalized for other groups whether it be race, country, or religion. Where do you draw the line?
