So i've just completed the tale (Revenge of the Morningstar), we dug up the outfit and were really glad to be able to wear it, but turns out it disappears at the end of the quest, why is that ? it makes no sense, besides Sandra points out it suits you well so we thought we could keep it and have a nice original outfit but nope. I don't see the aim of giving players a new outfit just to take it back right after, please make it stay in the inventary, it would be appreciated and would make more sense, the outfit disappearing is not explained in any way and was a real let down, for me it was the real reward of the quest (not fond of the ship hull).
Why does the morningstar outfit disappears ?
@sok-le-frivole because it's kind of a quest-tool as the spyglass in stars of a thiev or the lantern in fate of the morningstar...
@sok-le-frivole youre right they should give it to us to keep. or make it a challenge to unlock sure, but i dont get why we cant have it either.
@schwammlgott It still isn't any different than what getting the clothing set would be...simple clothing cosmetics.

The spyglass and lantern, however, both have special effects which the cosmetic set does not.
"If people like the style of the outfit enough though, maybe we could look to recolour and introduce the outfit to the shops 🤔"
But the color IS what is so special about this outfit!
Also if we can, as other said get the cosmetics for the spyglasses but without the effects, why not do the same and remove the effect of the extra dialogs (and having a seperate set with the white background color during the misson)
If it takes finishing the quest 5 times to get them, by then everyone will know to skip going back to the tavern anyway
I agree, it should totaly be a thing. Or at least a recolor. And like, people say "tis quest item like spyglass" but you unlock both ancient and the bottle spyglasses. it should have been the reward for earning all the commendations instead of the figurehead :/ I really miss the outfit, it's really amazing. I'm ready to even spend doublons on it!
@xzodeak No, you have to collect the spyglass every time and it is removed once you finish or abort the tale.
@crimsonraziel I think we have a misunderstanding? I was talking about the cosmetic that you get when u complete the tale once. The spyglass is missing the skull inside but other then that is exact replica of the spyglass used in the tale.
