Pet suggestion, bond levels

    So I play with a lot of players and not often do I play with the same person twice, it would be cool if my pet liked the people I hang out with more than the random strangers I play with.

    If a random player picks up my pet it should struggle and fight a bit, but if someone I play with often picks them up it should nuzzle and cuddle into them

    Another thing I would like to see is pets being able to free roam around the boat, and if they were allowed to do this maybe this bond level could factor into who they hang out near

    What pets? Might want to go to the insider forum,because all that's been revealed about pets is that they're coming. You're under nda.

    So Rare announced that pets won't be able to free roam on ships? I probably won't get one, but that's too bad.

    @blazedrake100 No. The only things they said about pets is that they're going to be MTX and they're going to interact with the players and the world. Also, they said we can shoot them from cannons.

    So by interacting with the world, I assume they mean interacting with the islands, water, and ships

    @blazedrake100 I don't see any NDA violation here.

    I think the idea is pretty good, actually. IF we do get pets, and IF they have the level of interaction required, it would be more life like if they had an affinity with different players or pets owned by different players. I mean, they are just there, for no benefit or purpose other than cosmetic entertainment, why not give them personalities?

    They be somewhere around 87 on my priority list.

    I guess these would be OK for kiddies but this is a PEGI 12 game.

    Obviously Rare feels there’s nothing more important could be done with the development hours put into these. Astonishing!

    I’ll admit to the mistake, I haven’t been around the forums long enough to know where I’m supposed to head for insider stuff and I thought this was the place, that said I didn’t break NDA we know pets are coming and we know they will be possible to pick up. I appreciate the heads up though I should be more careful
