Tribute Peak is full of secrets and I'm sure it's not the only island of the "Shores of Gold" area... The giant statues are very intriguing, were they god and goddess? king and queen? I don't know if the merfolk went there tho, there is nothing that show that they were there. Can't wait to uncover more lore there! :D

Well, the only indication of a merfolk presence in the Shores of Gold are those Mermaid Statues ya find in the Gold Hoarder's dungeon.
Now those Statues could've been built by the Acients...

Ah that's right, I had completely forgotten these statues! Well, there are still so many things we do not know... yet!
