The Ferrymans Evil Twin Brother

I'd quite like for the Ferryman to be locked in an eternal battle with his evil twin brother.
His brother bent on destroying the world of the living is the reason for the endless spawning skeletons. Not only does he make sure the skeleton hoards pester us pirates he supplies them with weaponry to destroy us.
The Ferryman sacrificed his soul to stop his brothers evil plans, forever tying himself to the Ferry of the Damned.
Every now and again when you died the Ferry would be locked in battle with his brother, you would have the choice to stay and help, firing the cannons and fixing the Ferry or just respawn as normal.
If the Ferryman lost the fight, the Ferry would sink into the sea of the damned where he would use his arcane magic to bring it back to life but the spawn rate of the skeleton hoards would increase slightly and if we beat his diabolical brother the reverse would happen.
The Evil Ferryman's face would look strangely familiar, like we've seen it haunting our dreams or floating in the sky.
