@Galactic-Geek I know I'm on a European server for LAG and for finding players from that region, I am from South America, the North American servers cause me LAG but not as much as the European, the worst is having no choice, I am simply thrown into it.

@lleorb Just hold your horses son. Optional crossplay is coming. It’s not as simple as waving a wand. They want to iron out all the little details and all the little bugs and glitches so they can do things that actually add to the game such as more tall tales and more factions. You demanding it being released will not quicken it. I’m sure you’d rather have it in a good state and not a bad state right? God forbid they release it and somehow PC with controller players end up in your lobby.

Edit: sad to see you are a founder demanding they release thing quicker. As a founder you should know that it exactly hasn’t been the smoothest ride.

The communication around it could be much much better. 5 months ago its finally, after much call for it, announced. A few pieces of clarification followed for those who didnt get it and didn't understand how the servers work. Since then we were given one expectation, which was not met, and very very little info after that, even for insider build.

It just doesn't seem to be the priority that it should be, which is why we keep seeing calls for it or even for more info on it.

@itskingbertie ....you do realize that Xbox is own by Microsoft which has been a computer company since it first started right? Like you are not just being a troll about it? Saying its an Xbox exclusive makes it a Microsoft exclusive because...Microsoft owns Xbox! Oh my!

I know but the fact this game was built and designed as an XBOX game but has better features on its PC counterpart shows that really this should be called a PC XBOX game pass exclusive

If this game never had crossplay it would probably be closer to the game we all wanted from the vision they set forth imo.

@bumbumbac Is not a private server form, I'm just asking for one option to select by region and not a specific server.

@EGGamer13 Yes, there are, but when I select open crew I am randomly directed to some region of the world and not to the nearest server. And when I'm on the Brazilian server and it empties, I'm redirected to another anywhere in the world

@ThaUndeadOne I know it's not that simple and I'm not asking you to launch faster and anyway. I want it to be treated as a priority, which does not seem to be happening, as others have said here, Rare no longer talks about it and seems to be in the background.

@reapinglegion As I said before, I know it takes time but in my view it seems not to be treated as a priority. nothing more was said about it, not even a "we are having difficulties", and the complaints serve to show the urgency and importance of this.

@lleorb Its probably not, and truthfully for good reason. There are much more important things to work on than Opt-out crossplay. I've noticed that connectivity has been a big issue and it is constantly lagging in a different server, I have seen different threads about that topic so I know I am not the only one experiencing it. Hopefully, they are trying to fix that as that affects everyone and not just a single group of players. The game wouldn't be fun if we spent half the time we were on lagging the entire time. It'll come but other technical issues that affect everyone comes first, at this I am guessing that is the point the Devs will use during their youtube videos.

@itskingbertie Where in anything did it say it was designed and built as an Xbox game? I am pretty sure when I first saw the trailers I saw Xbox and Windows 10 for it being able to run on. I mean PC/Xbox users use the same Microsoft Store app. I think you confuse seeing Microsoft and thinking Xbox. PC is bigger than just games, we all use PCs throughout our day and our life. And if you don't use a MAC book or anything Apple then you use Microsoft. It only makes sense to drop these barriers around PC and Xbox gamers that use Microsoft because we are all using the Store App to purchase and play our games.

@itskingbertie Lol, you are more delusional than a person stuck in the desert. You can twist my words all you want, but as an Xbox player, I would wreck you regardless on the seas. I play both PC and Console and consider myself as an Xbox player as that is my main method of playing. It's all skill, be skilled and you'll kill. Skill to kill. Come back when you have a real response! For now, leave the forums to people who know a little about both lol. We are all players on the Seas and if you can't accept that, well not only is that a personal attack on me but to everyone else.

@itskingbertie Out perform? no, I am about the same, as I changed my settings to let me look around faster. You can call me big man if ya want. It's kinda weird but whatever you do you brother!

Skill skill skill, that’s why I play a cross-platform sandbox game with buggy combat and a 4 man crew ;)
I am confused Are you saying the games you play don't require skill? CoD, Fortnite, Apex Legends, any multiplayer game requires skill and strategy.

@itskingbertie It is! This community is filled with Toxic players and people who troll the forums. And in both cases, we are a perfect fit for it!

@ItsKingBertie You are delusional in the fact that you think PC players should/are coming first. I do not mean that as a personal attack. I mean it as another way of saying that, no your belief is wrong. We are all players here, We all fight the same skeletons, krakens, megs and other players. This Stigma of being a PC player or an Xbox player is just ridiculous! Because at the end of the day we are just players playing Sea of Thieves and trying to have a fun time in our own ways. In everything we do we try to have a fun time. Why look at everyone so differently? Why try to separate people based on what they play on? The only difference between you and me is play time. If we could only accept each other as other players would we actually be able to understand and be nice to one another...unfortunetly I truly don't see that happening as PC players are always strung up in the gallows and hung because of they play on a PC and not an Xbox, its just sad.
