Why are there no rainbows (other than the flag). Such a great weather system in the game, but there are never any rainbows.
To quote the great Pirate of Collective Knowledge, Wikip Edia,
“A rainbow is a meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky. It takes the form of a multicoloured circular arc. Rainbows caused by sunlight always appear in the section of sky directly opposite the sun.”

@bulganzi Not every real thing is easy to achieve in a video game. I think this is a cool idea. Tech wise, I wonder how difficult it would be to pull off being that rainbows are never really set in space, but are from the perspective of the viewer.

I understand they may be too much to incorporate at this time. You’re right, to be incorporated correctly would be defined on the players perspective as opposed to the storms rain, and available sunlight. I’d imagine this would be applied as a form of “lens flare” for the player, however the interaction in conjunction with the storm may be much more difficult. On the pretence that it’s doable, I beg for them to be added, because well, who doesn’t like a rainbow?
