Can you make sea of thieves for the iPhone. I always play games on the iPhone and never Xbox and ps4 or pc. I think a lot of people would enjoy playing sea of thieves on a raodtrip or just to hangout and chill. I hope you take under consideration that this will be a good app on the phone.

They really can’t. Sorry. Sea of Thieves would never work on mobile. Even if it were possible, it isn’t in Rare’s or Microsoft’s best interests to waste time and money trying to port Sea of Thieves to mobile platforms. It’s not worth it for anyone involved.
@jrmmayo While I doubt you will ever be able to download Sea of Thieves to your phone and play it, Microsoft is investing heavily in streaming services. Perhaps one day you will be able to stream SoT to your phone and play.
I'm just gunna chime in here as a mobile dev... To achieve something like Sea of Thieves would be insanely difficult.
Simulating water, tied with rendering water is resource intensive, so that would be the first hurdle. After that comes characters, which is another resource heavy endeavor. Physics calculations? Yep, gotta rope those in somehow, probably by using the best of smoke and mirrors tactics. Tie it all together with the necessary server additions to make it multiplayer and you have a multiplayer game on mobile.... Oh and control schemes. You'd have to condense the controls into something like pubg mobile, where you can move, look, and a couple actions + minor inventory controls.
So lets get back to the OP, making this a mobile game. Sure its possible, but the end result wouldn't be near what you are expecting. A lot of people would enjoy it on mobile - sure - but it wouldn't even be SoT at that point. Probably something closer to the new ubisoft pirate (bs) game that's coming out.
Anywho, food for thought.
o7@jrmmayo Sea of Thieves needs some serious graphical power. It's not possible to make a game like that for mobile. My laptop can't even run it and it's pretty decent.
The idea is cool but simply not possible i'm afraid.
