With the events of Fate of the Damned well underway, the team has been working on additional fixes based on feedback from the community. We’re introducing those in today’s release, update 2.0.19.1.

For a refresher on all the new features and spooky goings-on in October’s content update, check out the full-length Fate of the Damned release notes!

Fixed Issues

Matchmaking

  • Crews joining the game should now be matchmade onto server locations optimised for their region.

  • Attempting to join an Open Crew session should no longer result in a Greybeard error while searching the seas.

Fate of the Damned

  • Text encountered during the Fate of the Damned Voyages should now be translated into languages other than English.

  • Players’ progress through the Fate of the Damned Event is now in sync when viewed via the in-game Events menu.

  • When speaking to Larinna, selecting the line “You’re being pretty secretive...” now has Larinna respond with the appropriate dialogue.

Known Issues

Fate of the Damned Voyages for Weeks 2, 3 and 4 Purchasable Early

  • After completing the Voyage entitled The Search for Wild, Plentiful Shadows of Fate, players may find Larinna’s Black Market prematurely offering Voyages for upcoming weeks. While these Voyages are functional, the Challenges that they progress are locked until subsequent weeks, therefore progress is not correctly tracked.

Players Impacted Following Server Migration

  • We are currently tracking a number of player-impacting issues which can occur following a server migration. These include crews migrating near Outposts finding themselves moved to a location where another ship is already present, and issues with ship interaction points.

Ranged and Melee Weapon Hit Detection

  • In areas of intense action, players may find themselves firing shots or landing strikes that do not cause damage to their targets. While improvements continue to be delivered during our content updates, this continues to be a key priority for the team.

Stuck UI Menus

  • When interacting with a barrel and moving quickly through its inventory, players may find that the barrel’s state is not updated as items are removed. Players can also find the Game Options become stuck on-screen when exiting a barrel in this state.
