I just got stuck twice in a row in two completely different areas.
I sailed from the east side of the map all the way to the west for a change of scenery, finished my voyage with all the loot on board --- then I got stuck in a rock. Now I'm staring at a beautiful sunset on the beach, wishing I didn't have to exit the game and lose all this booty I pillaged.
We need a manual /unstuck command or a button.

Can’t say I’ve ever been stuck yet - few tight situations but, at least in the sloop, if you put the sails up and hard right / left you can usually get out. Would imagine the same true for galleon but not tried it.
I was on foot exploring Islands
My kids got stuck in between some rocks on an island in the last beta. I must admit to being a little shocked there was no /stuck option to force a respawn. Hopefully they have the QA bandwidth to do another pass on finding all these spots.
In hindsight I should have taken a screen cap and submitted the issue.
I agree, Ive gotten stuck numerous times now exploring, jumping off cliffs, shooting myself out of cannons into things.
The best one was when I shot myself at a sunken ship (world spawn) And got stuck in the wall. I tried drowning (cant drown in a wall apparently) and having a teammate bring me a exploding barrel to shoot it and kill me Which you cant take explosive damage inside of a wall either so I ended up just having to do a game restart. But 100% agree unstuck command needed, Even if its on a timer or something.
I Just had my character stuck in a palm tree in Devil's Roar. I had six sub-quests that I bought 200 and two quest with 5 chest on an island. I was forced to restart and lose that opportunity.
The fact that a company which brings you a game in which you are free to roam various terrain and doesn't even think of players getting stuck is rather frightening.
And give me back my 200 dubloons you theif!
@cpt-peach-beard Decent traversal mechanics would also fix the problem as well as making the game much better and funner at the same time, but unstuck options should always be available. I've had the game transport me back to my ship before I could get stuck(sometimes when I wasn't stuck) so i've never actually been stuck before.
The best thing you can do it try and take note of the island name and grab screenshots of the place you were stuck.
File a support ticket and let Rare know how you ended up in that spot.
The more bad spots they know about, the better they can fix those trouble areas.
