The first option i was looking for isn't there or i overlooked it, the option to turn off
connecting to the PC cheater race aka "crossplay" (you can already buy hacks from WELL RENOWN hackerpages)
I hope this option is quickly activated.
I would not wonder if this crossplay absurdism is the main case why we get a "bronzebeard" error when trying to connect, i am sure the cheat seller and maker elite all around the world is debugging SOT hard at the moment including trying to inject network pakets to find every vulnerability.
RARE please, make crossplay optional, its duress to force players into crossplatform gaming, one of the major cases why i bought the XBOX X (and my PS4 pro) was to avoid the PC "moddingscene" and you just let them in like if this problems would not exist.

No option to turn off Crossplay!???
I'd prefer an option to disable aim assist on PC. We don't need it and it's really jarring to be yanked around by it. Not sure why you're complaining about modding, modding isn't cheating. Using scripts is cheating, but not modding. Mods wont work in this game as the servers don't support them and you have to play on Rare's servers. So no modding. No cheaters on Xbox, that's laughable at this point isn't it? May have been true a decade ago but not so much these days. Such a console fanboy thing to say really. People complained about cheaters after the 360 came out, the problem still exists.
@naoshadowpaws only crossplay makes it possible that cheaters invade the xbox because on PC every 2nd player uses hacks, if there is no crossplay then there is no cheat,thats why every healthy xbox player wants this to be optional.

What do we do now? 70 € paid for being forced to do "Crossplay" as an experiment.

I doubt that RARE has the littlest skill to fight game cheating , making crossplay non-optional is showing a very low understanding of this problem in general .

What hacks could there possibly be for a online based only game with servers that are ran by the company who designed the game...What hacks or cheats could there be that would give PC players such a huge advantage? @captnhempleg to be fair there are actually hacks for this game, one of them shows objects in distance and where chests are on peoples ships
@cavemancronch woooooahh...that's one hell of a advantage there boys!! Better get good at aiming that blunderbuss so that they cant reach your chest with their chest finding hack lolololol. I get it though..a hack is a hack and it needs to be dealt with..but cmon' seriously lol? Its not like those are game changing hacks that will give someone a HUGE advantage.
@captnhempleg well it can be yeah, especially when it tracks players as well, you can see them through the cliffs etc, for example if you are trying to hide below deck this big yellow box is around your character that only they can see and they can see where you are, was need for the smart a*s answer a known website is also advertising other ones that are available, i havent met anyone since release that was sketchy but its not to say someone isnt trying hacks

Aimbot – Auto aim at other players and enemies
Cannon Aiming – Auto aim cannons at enemy players/ships
Treasure Finder – See where treasure may spawn
Chest ESP – See spawned chests on islands
Player ESP – See other players
Ship ESP – See enemy vessels at maximum distance
NPC ESP – See mermaids, skeletons and other enemies
2D Radar – On-Screen radar showing nearby entitiesbut im not defending the OP, i have seen people banned left and right on fortnite for hacks yet have never seen one in game lol, all games have them but its not as widespread as people think, to many people cry wolf just because they got killed most times

Did you happen to take any video of blatant obvious cheating? It sounds like you got #rekt and are now claiming cheating. But if you have some proof I'd be really interested in seeing it.
@zalavaaris there is already posted screenshots multible times in this forum showing the typical ESP cheats, if you interested in them you can find them, if you only a cheater who wants to flame legit Xbox players , forget it, i detected you already.

Dude your clearly one of those console elietists that believes this myth that every pc player is a hacker and consoles can't have hacks. Bolth of which is untrue. Its extremely easy to hack a console. Even the newer versions. If you look up actual statistics the amount of hackers on console and PC are approaching the same number.Also you can get a PC that is better in every way than an xbox x for the same price. Not to mention the better performance and the ability to be used for more than gaming, a console is literally an overpriced prebuilt PC that makes you pay a subscription to use it and its controls suck.And can only be used to play games at s****y fps.
