I was wondering if there was an option where you can simply click once forward to remain sprinting. I know that there’s an auto move, but they’re kind of different. There will be times that my wrist hurts after playing and I think it would be helpful. If players could click one button one time to automatically sprint forward and not have to hold the button. There is a setting in far cry six that is similar to this and it was very helpful. Thank you!
Accessibility + sprinting

You guys hold the button to sprint? My just runs all the time.
I have to gentle push forward on my stick to make him walkOP possibly meant they'd appreciate something like a Shift+W but to be just one key/button press. So technically a Shift+W macro (or a gamepad equivalent).

That said, if Rare would implement this officially it would be fine. It could be seen as a QoL/Accessibility for people with difficulties, and I've got nothing against it.But until then, refrain from using any software/hardware macros (some mice, keyboards, gamepads, etc have their own macro options) cuz it's against ToS and a bannable offense.

There is this nifty button on the keyboard called "num lock" that does exactly what you are describing. It is on the top-right of the keyboard. On controller I just press down on the left stick once and I start running.
Num lock is for the number pad on the keyboard (which not all keyboards have). How would that help sprinting? Sprint is W + SHIFT.
@illbushido305 When you press it you automatically move forward and if you press sprint you auto-sprint
@ko-gamer462 ok, regardless not every keyboard has the numbpad and numlock. I have a 65% keyboard for example so this would not be an option.
