I'd like to know why there is so much negativity about progressing in Safe Seas. What is the big issue that makes you believe it will be so unbalanced if all the elements of the game (discarding the obvious) are enabled in Safe Seas?
Why not enable all elements only for solo players?
Why is it believed that letting a solo player with the internal kill-score of rabbit, start a Fort of Fortune and the algorithm after a certain amount of time, when the player has killed all the skeletons and is finally face to face with the boss, will make 4 people, with the internal score of assasins, on a galleon appear at the nearest outpost just to destroy the solo player?
Do you think you are doing someone a favor? That you are teaching some kind of a lesson? I honestly don't see the point other than pure sadism and encouraging bullying. There is no self-improvement, positive feelings or sportsmanship. I don't buy any of that fourth-rate nonsense.
Literally every day I read in different sources, players of all age ranges (I'm 40+ btw) saying "I'm not playing anymore" for this reason. At this point, I really do believe it's just sadism. Hopefully some update will give me a reason to believe otherwise.
Today I lost two good members of my crew because of this problem. Two more, and counting. I couldn't convince them that one day the game will become a good game for the general public, and not just for those groups that play all games from all game catalogs equally as if it was all just about pew-pew. And honestly, after more than 4000 hours of playing, I'm seriously starting to lose hope and start to believe like them too.
