Since the Anniversary Update the game will randomly freeze, buzz like crazy and crash when I am playing adventure mode. Anyone else getting this?
Happened loads of times over the last few days.
For some reason I think it may be related to parrot costmetics I bought in Arena mode being out of sync in Aventude Mode but I’m only speculating,
@xraylexx my friends plays on Xbox one X and they have the same issues than you.
From time to time their game crashes or simple closes. Their loading times are longer than it should be.
I play on a Xbox too, but OG.
I had no crash but the game it self is totally broken for me. The textures take a lot to render or doesn't render at all, my cosmetics aren't shown in the chest, items take a lot to appear in the inventory, I can't pull up my weapons or swap them, cannot use my Compass or watch because it's all blur, I get notifications about quests, items sold and islands several minutes later, islands take a lot to render so it becomes inaccessible for a while, among other things....
But on the other hand, my loading times are way shorter than it ever be ahah
Was just abt to post a new topic on my issue till i found this post 👍any way since this new update my 1x crashes every 30mins to round abt 50 mins😒my orig xbox and my xbox 1s can run for hours with out a crash ..as ive been testing all 3 console since my first 3 crashes in the first day of update..ive also talk to friends playing on the X and they also have crashes after abt 1 hour played even the load in times areWAY slower on my 1X???

I'm on X1X and external SSD and have no crashing issues but the game is very laggy and at times I run downstairs on the sloop and end up back on the top deck again, same for others in my crew but no crashes.
I'm on Xbox One X and since the update my game crashed only once but now it's continuously laggy. It stutters about every 5 to 10 seconds. My character warps around, my ship will start flying or sinking, and it wont let me raise or lower sails/capstan when its lagging. My crew mates can't hear what I'm saying when it lags either.
I thought maybe it was my internet but every other online game I play works fine.
@xraylexx we had this problem too in the beginning...seems like making a tall tale and at the same time having a voyage on the table is problem...just cancel the voyage while doing a tall tale...never happened again since we do it that way...
Cool. I’ll try that. Hopefully it’s fixed in the patch. Will miss those free air miles
@schwammlgott tried this and it seemed to work but got a load of crashes again over the weekend.
I had to turn off my Xbox one X completely and power cycle it to get a stable game.
@xraylexx I get the freezing but no crashes on my PC. Very annoying when you are in combat. It all started with the anniversary update. It sure looks like a major bug.
