I’ve had a weird number of Open Crew encounters where me or another crewmate will be shooting the bell on a ship, and someone will call us out for “flexing” or claim we have a big ego.
We are not flexing, we are aim training
When you shoot the ship bell, it rings it. This is used as an instant feedback method of if we are hitting the shot we fire or missing. This helps us adjust our aim and warm it up for sessions so we don’t whiff more shots than Stormtroopers in a New Hope.
Plus, I just like the sound the bell makes 😂
