Twitch Rivals is a series of competitive events, starring Twitch streamers, designed for Twitch viewers. There are over 100 such events this year alone – including this Sea of Thieves Showdown. Learn more about the schedule on the official Twitch Rivals page.

The event runs from 10:00 – 17:45 PDT on Tuesday July 23rd and 09:00 - 16:45 PDT Wednesday July 24th 2019.

Points will be awarded to participating crews based on their finishing position in each competition. The $100,000 prize pool will be split over the four distinct competitions, with the winners of each walking away with a cut of the cash.

Twitch Drops are rewards given to people who view Twitch streams. For this Sea of Thieves Showdown, the Obsidian Figurehead, Hull, Sail and Flag are up for grabs! Make sure you link your Twitch account to your game account to be eligible for rewards. Find out more in this article on How to Earn Drops.

July 23rd – watching the event will earn you the Obsidian Figurehead and Obsidian Hull.

July 24th – watching the event will earn you the Obsidian Sail and Obsidian Flag.

You can watch it on the official Twitch Rivals channel or the official Sea of Thieves channel. To earn the rewards, you’ll need to watch a minimum of 30 minutes per day while logged in, equivalent to the length of a single Arena contest!

You will receive a notification on Twitch when you have been awarded the items. The items will be added to your account, so all you need to do is log in to the game. If you are already logged in, you’ll need to log out and log back in.

You can unlink your Twitch account by visiting your account page and clicking ‘Unlink Account’ on the Twitch Drops panel.

If you do not receive your item within 72 hours, please visit the Sea of Thieves support site and log a ticket with our support team.
