Please Fix Bugs and Exploits

  • Howdy Rare!
First, I do love your game. There's no other game quite like Sea of Thieves, and when it works, its breath-taking, challenging, and out right fun whether solo, or running full galleon!

I am only commenting because I have now lost a handful of streaks in hourglass to the infinite black loading screen.

    Please fix the bugs.

    • The first 30sec of a fight, in every HG fight is now underwater as of this season. The "water bugs" can often keep one from boarding because boats and water are not performing well together.

    • The infinite loading screen is the bane of many a situation, but in hourglass it feels like you, Rare, are deciding "you're not allowed to win anymore" (I get its a bug... just fix it please)

    • The "exploits" you ignore are irritating, and shouldn't be part of the main game rotation, but they are. The sloop railing/ladder launch and the fishing pole cannon launch to name a few just shouldn't be a thing, and they have been for quite some time! (Having a guy dolphin jump out of the water onto the deck of my boat was funny the first time, but its obnoxious the 12th time)

I have experienced these three in just the last 24hrs. Please, please. I know you have content to sell us, but if you don't fix your bugs you won't have anyone to sell to.
    Grace and peace.

  • As a mod will tell you before locking. Report these types of issue to support

    It much faster

  • They arnt ignoring exploits, its just hard to pin down what causes it exactly. They could try to put some extra geometry to block people from doing it, but theres no guarantees people wont find alternative ways around it like they did with the fishing rod once map launching was patched.

  • They aren't ignoring exploits but they are ignoring people that abuse them. There is mention about cheats in pirate code but I think that only applies to cheat engines etc. If you watch any twitch or youtubers there's a lot of people blatantly abusing crud launches and such and none is getting punished for it.

Why not just add a rule that abusing exploits gets you same results as cheating? Maybe then things wouldn't always turn into a massive sh*tshow when someone finds a new bug.
