There is no balance currently in Hourglass.
My suggestion is this.
Instead of fixing the skill gap between hourglass another similar option is to create an opportunity that will allow players to join forces in both Guardians and Servants.
What I mean is when you interact with the hourglass to go for battle or hunt there should be an option to queue to find teammates instead of asking other people in open crew.
This will basically cover a huge amount of "looking for game" posts and it will save time for most players.
Whether you chose Galleon, Brig, Sloop there should be an option to either invite a friend to join specifically for PvP or wait for Open Crew option to find the specific number of players that is needed for the battle to start with the hourglass fanction you chose.
Right now open crew is chaos.
Some people want Servants and other people want Guardians so people are leaving servers in search of specific teammates who will raise the wanted flag and that takes time.
Yes some people instead of doing PvP they are making money or fishing and that's okay I don't blame them but what I'm saying is that a genuinely open crew is chaos as in any player wants to do their own voyages or their own grinds.
Many people would love to match with other people as in open crew specifically for Hourglass instead of playing solo or not at all.
Of course this would also come with some punishments as many players prefer to leave because of the skill gap.
If this suggestion ever comes into consideration there should also be a "break" for at least 5 minutes from queuing if you leave your fellow pirates and they are less in number.
This "break" should be getting higher than 5 minutes if someone is consistently leaving a team to find a new one.
This option shouldn't only be for Hourglass but Hourglass should be the first to get this change.
Not all wants to do Hourglass.
What if you want to go fishing and relax with another pirate?
There should be open crew option for all Fanctions so the game can match your play style and help you find people to go PvP, Fishing, Gold Grind or anything else the game has to offer.
I'm not a new player but I'm not a day 1 player either.
I am not sure if this existed before I started playing this game but please.
Consider it.
