Failed Loading Texture not enough VRAM

    I've been playing Sea of Thieves a lot more recently on my pc, and have been running into problems with the game crashing. Since I've been playing with friends, I usually rejoin the game within a few minutes, but it happens 3-4 times everytime I play for around 2-3 hours.

    I have a GTX 1660 Super, known for its fast VRAM in comparison to other GTX 1660 models.

    I've tried running my game at various graphics settings, from common to mythical, but it crashes the same way every time.

    If anyone has any solutions, it would be greatly appreciated.

    @brockrock007 is some malware eating up your vram?

    @captain-coel If there is, it's evaded my anti-virus and checking task manager hasn't come up with any irregularities.

    Since my original posting, I've gone into my drivers to configure a few settings. If it solves the issue finally, I'll send a new reply here.

    Odd that you’re experiencing this with a pc much better than mine. Have you tried going into the app settings and resetting the game files? This has helped me when I was having some other problems a while back.

    @l-snapper-l I've had less problems after tuning some of my driver settings. However, if it comes up again, I'll try what you've recommended.
