Couldn't report suspicious players using the Steam version of SoT.

Had an issue tonight where myself and my crew got ganked by a couple of suspicious players. Won't go into specifics aside from to say that normally I don't care about being ganked, it's a PVP game so you get over it quickly, but enough happened during this that made all of us immediately wonder if some hacking was going on. Yet when we attempted to go and report the matter so the dev's could decide if anything game breaking had happened we literally couldn't find the option as our recent players list was completely cleared out. Trying to report them via steam yielded no results either. I'm not sure if this is just a bug for the Steam version or did I just miss how to do this properly?
