    Merchant Alliance what can I say? After spending and hour looking for the speckled Hen when all I could find was the golden hen just made me quit the game in all honestly.

    Its so badly designed. Why is there not a hint or geographic map of Hen and pigs and snake areas? Just roaming around with sheer bordem trying to figure out where the hell I need to go. I tried to cash in a pig I caught and got nothing either.

    why is there also no ability to trade with people? Say I caught a pig why cant there be some sort of trade area for merchants like a market where we can exchange items?

    Atm there is 0 ability to be a merchant in game if I am being truly honest. Every ship is instant pvp encounter the room for communication and that play style I really dont see it being functional?

    I think an increasing amount of people are becoming concerned with the game's apparent lack of substance.

    No one really responded but I made an idea a while back about a special chest. You buy it from the guild rep and each time a crew buys it of another crew its value goes up. when it gets sold, all of the crews that owned it get so cash. It can still be stolen for cash too, which just means the new owners didnt have to buy it off anyone.

    Just something to encourage player cooperation without reducing pvp, and add more depth to the trading aspect of the game. Everyone know fetch quests suck and those seem to be the only type so far...

    @lizardheart There were more specifics to it. It could only be bought so many times and the more it travelled the higher cost / profit. so bieng the first one gav the highest profit percentage but also the longest journey, so it would be at risk.

    There was stuff like it having to travel so two crews couldnt just pass it back and forth... it was a detailed idea but the basics where a sort of relay chest that paid off for more diplomatic crews.

    @cavemansamurai Figure out which islands have which animal on your own, it seems the islands always have the same type of animals or none at all. Crooked mast has chickens and sunken grove has pigs and mermaids hideaway has chickens and pigs. Just for some examples. Don't blame the game for your lack of leg work.

    I was really skeptical of the merchant faction from the start. The more I found out about it the more I wondered why the heck they made it. I get to go on a wild pig/chicken hunt, then I have to keep them alive while I try to transport them without getting sunk by other players. Yay /s. If the merchants just gave you all the goods when you bought the voyage and all you had to do was transport them on time and intact then it wouldn’t be so bad. But this scavenger hunt for spotted chickens is some bs. I want to be a pirate not a rancher

    @mri1ama so according to you I got to trek around the whole world map to note down an remember every species on every single island so when I get a voyage I know where to go? Lol get real mate 😂. Aint got time for that nonsense

    @mri1ama even if there was communication of finds between players. No one has mics! Its just shoot shoot shoot pvp soon as you see a ship.

    I'm a bit surprised and shocked you spent an hour sailing island to island without finding a single speckled chicken. I'd assume you'd have to come across at least one. That must have been so frustrating! I'd be a bit upset too.

    I don't think they will give a lot of hints for where to go, since the idea is to explore. Similar reason they don't give you the island names on treasure maps. You'll quickly get the hang of it. You'll remember that you saw chickens on so-and-so island like how you'll become familiar with what Snake Island (as example) looks like on a treasure map.

    Technically you can trade with people. There is just no UI for it, it all comes down to you and the other person actually wanting to trade. Nothing stopping you from trying to trade chickens for chest or cannonballs for chests. Yes, the amount of things to trade and people to trade with is pretty limited but there is still the opportunity.

    @savage-alien honestly it was the most appauling experience. I just wanted to hand in one voyage atleast but failed throughout the whole day. I only managed to find one chicken. I even went across over 20 islands including chicken island to find nothing.

    @cavemansamurai In contrast to your experience, I found an island with at least half a dozen chickens all in a group, of varying colours. I would have just taken another quest... I'd think the delivery time would have run out on you by around the 10th island??

    @savage-alien no it doesn't the days are very long. I used a scope to look as well on the cays and isles.

    Its just too inconsistent for me and lacks the merchant depth I wanted. If you replacr chickens for chests its essentially the same faction. Real lazy imo
