iOS/Android Regular/Insider Forum App

  • I was just curious if there was any discussion on whether Rare would add an application to phones.

This would pave room to branch out your notifications and allow easier access to your player base and allow them to interact more with the community. Plus you would definitely receive more feedback in the long run as well.

You could use this resource to your advantage for many things like:

    • Update releases
    • Time limited events such as the double gold/reputation
    • Advertise your merchandise
    • The “Tavern”- an area where you can find crew mates to challenge the seas!

I honestly have many ideas for this particular topic but these are just a few!

I agree. A mobile Sea of Thieves app could certainly increase community engagement. The best we have is Reddit, and well... We all know what the Sea of Thieves subreddit looks like...

This could be a good place to notify community of developer update videos, remind us when the weekly stream is starting, tell us about updates, server maintenance...

    A very good idea indeed.

  • Another advantage to having this could be that if your Microsoft account is linked, you could view your pirate’s progress from your phone anywhere, anytime!

Ex: how many skelly ships have I killed for my ‘Legend of the Sea of Thieves’ commendation?

  • I agree that this app would be great for multiple reasons

    • finding crews to sail with
    • looking at news and info
*being able to see your in game progress
there are still tons of other things that could be added to make this app great for the community. I am fully for this idea and i hope it gets added

I totally second the in-game progress. Sucks to have to log in when I just want to check my stats, cause I was too tired from the night before to remember them hahah

****for the main game, not just the insider program.
