I feel the smugglers league didn’t get don’t justice by just being sold for gold I feels the treasures or goods(paintings, bottles, and the barrels) should have been sold for a different currency like the prices of eight like in the monkey island tall tails and you could use that currency to buy the brought back cosmetics from the past with this cosmetics it will add a need to contribute the the smugglers league long term bc right now it’s just kinda get the commendations and that’s it but I feel my ideas will bring them a great use to the seas
New currency with the smugglers league
This new currency will give rare a reason for people to do the new smugglers quest and a place to put returning cosmetics and make it feel like a actual black market that dosnt except just the regular currency but I do hear you on the whole not being able to spend your gold and that also comes with every new cosmetic is real money and never actually an in game gold perchance like ships sets for example we get a sail and a hull once in a while that go for 200,000 give or take like we need more of a grind like the dark adventurer ship set feel that is more accessible to more people(not the regal or the fates of fortune) like put in a smugglers ship set or something’s and make it purchasable at the representatives for gold and make new woepons and tools and instruments and they need to put as much effort and time into as the pirate emporium stuff it will give and other reason to go to the hideouts and a reason to grind for possible commendation locks and gold.trust me I hear you
Honestly, after I finish the commendations I have little to no reason to ever interact with the Smugglers content ever again. If they made them have their own currency which could be used to buy older out of rotation cosmetics, I would be INSANELY happy to do smugglers runs all day and all night. Screw gold, I'll be a piece of 8billionaire.
