i suggest that community weekend is extended to monday night because tomorrow is father's day and not many will be able to enjoy sea of thieves community weekend due to the holiday

...and how exactly would that be fair to those of us that have fathers and celebrate the holiday with them AND are contributing members of society that have jobs they have to go to on Monday?
You get a whole extra day of bonus gold earning while a lot of the rest of us have to go to work?
Doesn't seem right.
and what about the people that don't celebrate the holiday and don't work? They get three times the amount of bonus gold earning...?
This isn't the first time a Community Weekend had overlap with a real-world holiday that one country or another celebrated and probably won't be the last. There's always the next one. Or Gold 'n' Glory.

What about all the other reasons many can’t enjoy it?
Some are sick, servers are broken, had to work. So many reasons. Should all players who didn’t get time or chance be able to win?No. Sadly that the world. If you miss an event due to any reason. Even if you were there, it not the end of the world. But fear not, the rewards always come back
Bonuses on Father's day is a good thing in a game like this.
Some might be busy camping or getting summer kicked off in one way or another but cost of living is high and a lot of people don't have a lot of extra money laying around.
It's a game where family games together so that's an affordable hobby for many.
Some BBQ a few drawings/cards from the kids, something on the TV, and some SoT is a pretty compatible Father's day for quite a few people in the SoT community.
It's also a good escape if someone is in need of that.
Big picture I think there are more pros than cons.
