Just thought I’d share this. If you have 45 minutes or so, definitely recommend a watch. It’s great to see the head of Xbox talk about games so passionately. Seems like a solid dude. Not afraid to compliment competitors. All he wants is a great gamin environment for everyone from all walks of life
Phil Spencer’s talk at DICE 2018
He's certainly done a lot for the Xbox brand and he seems to have a great direction. Hopefully the 1st party titles pick up with games like SoT, State of Decay, Crackdown, etc.
Microsoft doesn't have a ton of consumer products anymore after Xbox so it's great to see the brand be given so many resources to succeed.

Tell me about it.... I'm stalking the net trying to get at least 'some' factual information about the Surface Phone/Device since my Lumia 950XL is beginning to show signs of age.
Can't find the released dev program which allowed you to jailbreak an Android and convert it to Win10Phone/Mobile so I've been (im)patiently waiting on any and all official comments :-(@waw-gunn It's funny you should say that as I was a HUGE fan of Windows phone going back to the original Samsung Focus as well as the Zune and Zune software that has since been killed off. 'Also have a couple Microsoft Bands laying around and a bunch of Surface RTs. Our home is a graveyard of discontinued and abandoned MS consumer products.
Saying that, they've forced me and my family of 4 to move onto other platforms...it's sad as I still miss using Windows Phone. We still have a bunch but we went to Android so we can all seamlessly be on the same platform...I am not a fan.
I really hope the Andromeda/Surface Phone/Mobile PC with telecommunication capabilities is great but I've kind of lost faith in them. They appear to be aiming for an ultra-expensive enterprise device.
@vormison Yeah, Andromeda lite appears to be getting banded about for 'late 2018' prior to 'some sort of device'.
I'm liking the folding screen 'proto' idea and really hoping it's not JUST going to be a be-all-end-all Enterprise device though (saving my pennies just in case...)
I still use my Surface RT for a load of things but never quite got around to the Band or Band 2 - so had to go the Garmin route for compatability.
I'll keep the faith for both of us then ;-)
