Why can players sell a ship when I'm standing next to it?
Why is player revival so fast?
Why aren't the masts falling down?
Why is there a skull on this ship that throws me into the water without a chance?

Why shouldn't they be able to? They're pledged to it and you're not. You think people shouldn't be able to turn in treasure just because you're nearby?
Why is player revival so fast?
It's the same speed on the BB as it is everywhere else.
Why aren't the masts falling down?
They can only be knocked down during the player-controlled part of the event, not when the skellies are controlling it at the beginning. Each mast takes two chainshots, not just one. They were probably repairing between your hits.

Due to the sheer size and poor handling of the ship and the limited number of skellies (and limited number of respawns they can do) that crew it when you take it over, the event is heavily skewed in favor of enemy boarding crews over the one that is pledged to it. The skull is an attempt to balance that as an additional measure to repel boarders. It's not supposed to be easy for you to get aboard.
I tried solo while fighting a brig ,the burning blade firepower was harmless, but i think that it for me with sot makes no sense doin this event solo this game might be not designed for playing solo but it focus a bit to much on pvp cause it marks u even after finishing the whole time on the map ,i grind also reapers but it gets a bit to much for my taste....
