If you enter the church without a sword you get softlocked since you need a sword to progress and can't change weapons.

The funniest thing is there's even an amory and ammo crates on the Headless Monky. But as soon as you enter the church you're stuck with what you have...
I happened to encounter an unusually high amount of issues during this Tall Tale.
First I softlocked myself by getting stuck to a root of a tree. Had to leave the game and rejoin.
Then, a key item just... didn't spawn. Had to restart the whole Tall Tale.
And like others have already mentioned, the final commendation isn't unlocking so you can't get the new Shanty.As a fan of Monkey Island it was cool but all these bugs really soured the experience.

Nope, there is nothing you can do, the end of this tall tale is MEGA bugged and it don't matter what weapon you have forward. Still a lock were you cant move! Just standing there in the church.
So i Guess for now you can't pass this part without RARE FIX this so called AAA Game with no buggs !!!I'm So Angry!!!
