Is there anything that can be done to not loose everything to merging servers? Please fix this, its the reason I stopped playing for half a year and Im about to do it again because it just keeps happening. I dont mind loosing hours of progress to other players but its the most frustrating thing to loose it just because the game decides to put you in a different server.
Items despawn on server merge
@wolfmanbush I was standing on an island, storage crate in front of me on the ground. Server merged, storage crate (with around 100 fish, quite a few rare) gone

merges happen when people are on the boat
@wolfmanbush You're right, I just checked. I was on the boat, the crate on the island next to the boat

that's tough to take a fish loss, not something I've seen but storage crates can go through weird things sometimes. I've seen them disappear in random scenarios I guess a merge took yours out.
You've experienced this multiple times in your game history?
@wolfmanbush Its the second or third time now, but unfortunatly I dont remember the last, I just know I lost 6 hours of progress back then and stopped playing for half a year
